Sun Salutations – a whole body-mind sequence

From traditional asana (postures), breath work (pranayama), relaxation and meditation – this all-round yoga class, suitable for all abilities, will help you to build strength, flexibility and balance – in both body and mind.

Whether you’re a beginner, a rusty returner or experienced student, this holistic yoga class encourages you to move mindfully, and develop confidence both physically and mentally.

We remember “Ahimsa” a Sanskrit word meaning “do no harm” or non-violence – so practice with kindness towards ourselves – this is beautifully supportive, creating a calm softening in mind and body.

Equipment: Your yoga mat, a lightweight blanket and, if possible, a yoga block and belt.  (A large book and dressing gown belt are fine to start with!)  Wear loose comfortable clothing, bring a water bottle and your mask.

Tuesday 11th January –  7.30pm – 8.45pm Axbridge Town Hall, Somerset & Online via Zoom

Cost: £50 for the 6 week course, plus access to the Free Birch Moon Podcasts (recordings of yoga, meditation and pranayama practices, talks on positive psychology and more)
